Outer layer
Surface layer: gloss, lamination/printability, with or without Corona treatment.
Upper intermediate layer
Bonds and supports the outer layer to the core.
Core layer
Provides stiffness and mechanical strength; can carry barrier functionality.
Lower intermediate layer
Balances the structure and strengthens bonding between layers.
Inner layer
The layer facing the contents, responsible for sealability.
